Glass Bid
Request-for-quote marketplace for commercial glazing
Glazing contractors send requests for quote — drawings, specs, bid packages, alternates, and the date pricing is due — to the glass fabricators and glazing-material vendors they choose. Vendors bid. Contractors compare and award.
Free for glazing contractors. Vendors subscribe to be listed, receive requests, and bid. Offered in the United States.
How it works
- Send a request for quote. Describe the glazing scope, attach the plans and specifications, set the pricing deadline, and pick the vendors to invite from the directory.
- Vendors bid. Each invited vendor sees the request and its attachments and responds with a priced bid, or declines, from their own account.
- Award the job. Compare the bids side by side and accept one. Every step is recorded, so the history of who sent, bid, and awarded what is always there.
For glazing contractors
One place to run bid day for the glazing scope: storefront, curtain wall, windows, doors, and interior glass. Stop chasing quotes over email and phone; send one request to every vendor you want pricing from and collect the answers together.
- Attach drawings and specs to the request itself.
- Track which vendors have bid, declined, or not yet answered.
- Bring your whole estimating team into one organization account.
- No charge — contractor accounts are free.

Built for the glazing trade
Glass Bid is a subscription web application that connects glazing contractors with glass and glazing-material vendors. Contractors publish requests for quote for a project's glazing scope; subscribed vendors receive those requests and submit priced bids in response.
